During 29th – 30th April 2025, Led by Dr. Yongyot Thammavudhi, Director General of the Department of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand, the Thai delegations and RPHL Network Secretariat  visited  the Instituto Nacional de Saúde Pública de Timor-Leste Direção and the Geral Laboratorio da Saúde, in Dili, Timor-Leste to facilitate bilateral collaboration to support the implementation of the National Laboratory Strategic Plan (NLSP) of Timor-Leste.

The bilateral meeting was graciously hosted by Dra. Merita Monteiro, President of the Council of Directors of the National Institute of Public Health of Timor-Leste

to identify key areas of bilateral collaboration to support the implementation of the Timor-Leste NLSP as well as to facilitate peer-to-peer support between Thailand and Timor-Leste.

Supported by the Global Funds (LSIF), the high level engagement underlines the strong commitment of RPHL Network members to support each other to strengthening laboratory systems, enhancing public health capacities, and promoting regional collaboration through RPHL Network.
