About the Programme
Through a structured curriculum, practical exercises, and peer exchanges, participants will be equipped with the skills needed to establish or strengthen Quality Management Systems (QMS) in their countries, supporting ISO 15189 accreditation.
Key Objectives
- Build a Pool of QMS Experts
Develop a pool of capable QMS experts who can provide technical support and mentorship within their respective countries towards ISO 15189 accreditation. - Promote Peer-to-Peer Support
Encourage peer-to-peer learning and cross-country knowledge exchange across the RPHL Network. - Enhance QMS Systems
Strengthen national QMS frameworks and contribute to ISO 15189 accreditation efforts.
Eligibility Criteria
All RPHL Network member countries are eligible to nominate candidates. The criteria include:
- Mid- to senior-level laboratory professionals with 4–10 years of relevant experience in implementing or overseeing laboratory QMS and accreditation activities
- Demonstrated experience in implementing, auditing, or supporting laboratory ISO standards (e.g., ISO 15189)
- Potential and willingness to contribute to national and regional capacity strengthening efforts
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
Nomination Process
The RPHL Network Contact Person may nominate 2–4 candidates per country. Each nomination should include:
- Brief CV
- Expression of interest

Support for Selected Participants
Successful candidates will receive:

Selection Process
Participants will be selected by the RPHL Network Selection Committee based on the established criteria.
