The Thai delegation from the Department of Medical Sciences completed five days of learning through the Peer Exchange Programme on Accreditation Excellence in Singapore.
The 5-Days programme enhanced participants’ practical capabilities and regional peer learning by deepening their contextualized understanding of Singapore’s approaches to One Health, accreditation, biosafety and biosecurity, facility management, surveillance, and emergency preparedness. The knowledge and insights gained will help address gaps in laboratory accreditation, biosafety and biosecurity practices, workforce development, and emergency preparedness, contributing to Thailand's National Laboratory Strategic Plan (TH-NLSP) implementation by transforming the e-Accreditation system through digitalized records and developing a national regulatory framework for BSL-3 laboratories and biological safety cabinets in Thailand.
